I took up "blogging" some years back as something to do when I got home after a really long night out and couldn't sleep because I was so fucked up... just being honest here. After some time I acquired a small following of readers who seemed to be amused with my insanity, ridiculousness, stories, fuck-ups, problems, rationalizations, pet peeves, encounters, rants, lists, humor and occasional tear-jerking paragraph that made you want to hug your mother or best friend or thank GOD you never took up drugs or fell in love with that bad boy you always had an eye for. I was glad to entertain... and kinda sorta liked it (please note that I have loathed writing in all forms up until thais point... including index cards, grocery lists and physics formulas). My blogging came to a screeching halt when the entire website that hosted my blog vanished into thin air with absolutely no warning... yes, it really did. [fuck you Catch 27] It's a shame that most of my then-written-drug-inspired "masterpieces" vanished with it (of course I didn't save anything on my computer... who does that?) So, having some time on my hands, I decided to start over, with completely new problems, dilemmas, people and places... with an occasional re-post of stuff I find from years back. I get to do it all over again... and no one is taking my site away from me!

food. having had an issue or two (or three, or four) in the food department in my 20-something years of life, i have decided to stop giving a shit. (works about 30% of the time)
general fitness, weight training, bodybuilding, running, dieting , dancing, roller blading, figure skating (limited to annually doing a double loop just to see if i still can)
anything pretty... pretty people, pretty places, pretty things, pretty, pretty, pretty... oh, and sparkles... i LOVE sparkles
anything creative... writing, making a complete idiot out of myself, doodling, making a complete idiot out of myself, shaking my behind.... and thus making an idiot out of myself.
books. books about real people, books about fake people, books about fake places, real places, true stories, false stories, stories written as true which are really false, books about insane people who make me feel sane, books designated "For Dummies", textbooks from half.com, textbooks fromt the campus bookstore, textbooks from the UMDNJ bookstore, books that have pink covers, books written by porn stars, fairy tales, books on sale, books not on sale..... i can continue forever....
anything i've never done before.... I'm always looking for a hobby not involving a computer screen

anything remotely related to finance... i know how to make money and how to spend it... but sadly nothing in between... I literally keep money in a piggy bank (cute, pink, got it at Target for $12.99). i figure i'm a girl, guys are supposed to know money stuff, maybe one day i'll marry a guy and he can explain it to me in "blonde" terms... until then I'll just have to read Rich Dad, Poor Dad for the 8th time....
anything on the news or in the paper. it's depressing. politicians are idiots. that's even more depressing. the less you know, the easier you can sleep at night (and since i have insomnia anyway, the news would undoubtedly worsen my condition
